What Does Diamond Certified Mean?

Diamond Certified is a research group that rates businesses in Northern California, allowing consumers to patronize only the best companies in their area. In contrast with many online review sites, which feature anonymous and often unreliable ratings, Diamond Certified offers ratings that are based on real and solid research. To qualify as Diamond Certified, a business must meet a number of criteria.

• After the company applies to be considered as Diamond Certified, a sampling of 400 of the company’s customers will be taken, and these customers will be surveyed on a confidential basis. Customers are asked to rate their interaction with the company on a scale of 1-10 and are also asked a number of questions about the company’s performance. Only companies that score a total rating of 90 or higher in customer satisfaction will qualify as Diamond Certified
• Diamond Certified will make sure that the company adheres to legal and acceptable business practices. To qualify, a company must be properly insured and credentialed, and it must have a good working relationship with its customers. The company must also agree to abide by the Diamond Certified Customer Satisfaction Principles.
• Even after certification, Diamond Certified will continue to monitor the company to ensure that it maintains its high standards. Periodic customer surveys will be conducted, and a Diamond Certified mediator will be available to resolve disagreements between the company and its customers.
